Have you ever wanted to give your family and friends a phrenology exam? Probably not, but now is your chance to give it a try.
Below is a chart (and PDF version here) much like the one used by the Fowler family to perform hundreds of thousands of phrenological examinations during the nineteenth century. The image of the head at the bottom of the page is a handy reference for the location of the various phrenological organs.
If you want to know how exactly to perform a phrenology exam, have a look at the Appendix of my book Empire of Skulls. Amaze your family and friends with phrenological readings that are not accurate in any way, but fun nonetheless.
